Mev-Boost on separate VM

Hey all,

while reading through the documentation of mev-boost, I noticed a pargrapth on the system requirements page that mev-boost can run on any “beacon-node system, and requires almost no resources.”

I’m not sure if this is correct.

Is it possible to operate mev-boost from a separate VM without beacon-node installed?

I think mev-boost works fine, as long as the beacon-node VM can connect to this mev-boost VM, does it?

Are there any benefits or drawbacks when mev-boost is running on a separate VM?

mev-boost can be run anywhere, the beacon-node just needs to be able to connect to it. The resource requirements of running mev-boost are negligible.
