Introducing Flashbots Forum- The App

Intro

The Flashbots forum is where some of the most important discussions around MEV auctions and market structure actually happen. In theory it is all public and accessible. In practice the experience is not the best on mobile due to the web interface. I have bounced off it more times than I can count just because opening threads in a browser felt like work.

This project exists to remove that friction. I wanted a way to read Flashbots discussions the same way I read anything else on my phone quickly comfortably and without fighting the interface. So I decided to build a native iOS app that makes the forum easy to browse read and participate in anytime anywhere.

What it does

The app focuses on doing a few things well. You can browse all forum categories open topics and read full discussions with proper rendering for images code blocks and formatted posts. Everything is optimized for mobile reading with pull to refresh dark mode and smooth navigation.

It also supports interaction. You can log in create new topics reply to posts like discussions and see your updates appear immediately. The goal is not just passive reading but making it easier to actually participate in the forum without waiting until you are back at a laptop.

Why this matters

A lot of important context around Flashbots research and decisions lives in forum threads not in polished papers or blog posts. When the forum is hard to access that context gets lost or only reaches people willing to put up with the friction. Making the forum easier to read lowers the cost of staying informed and engaged.

Coming soon. Maintained by me. Feedback welcome.

Demo Video

Cool, I would love to try it out!

The demo video looks like the standard forum experience to me, can you show off some of the main differences?

By the way, we’ve built our own custom theme and theme components, if you have ideas on how we can improve the UX just let me know!

hey ser, thanks for the reply.

One defining feature I want to add is AI summarization for long topics. This would let readers quickly grasp the core arguments and outcomes of a discussion without scrolling through dozens of posts. It saves time, lowers the barrier to entry for new readers, and makes the forum feel more approachable while still preserving the depth for those who want to dive in.

for the UX:

I’d suggest improving UX by emphasizing clearer visual hierarchy in topic cards and adding subtle interactions and smart defaults that help readers quickly identify and engage with the most relevant discussions.

for the demo app, will reach out in DMs. thanksss
