Five years after the original [Flashboys 2.0](https://arxiv.org/abs/1904.05234) paper where the concept of MEV was defined, what is the state of MEV in 2024? How has the original [Endgame](https://vitalik.eth.limo/general/2021/12/06/endgame.html) thesis evolved since the 2021 in the modular ecosystem? In an increasingly modular world we are seeing market forces redraw the entity boundaries towards [re]integration. MEV.market, 2024, London, where tradfi meets defi. We are viewing MEV from the lens of global markets, and bringing decentralization to the nexus of commerce, innovation, and ideas that have shaped the global economic landscape for centuries.
