Excellent post, I totally agree with all the points highlighted around the need for geographical decentralisation.
What sort of players should this need be advertised to? Should there be call to individuals running or certain organisations (for example, some crypto company in Cape Town, South Africa, to run nodes or set up infrastructure).
In general, should this need for geo-decentralisation encourage a diverse base of operations? WRT third world countries it always seems inevitable that labour streams to places that can guarantee stability, safety and other factors that cater to needs, its difficult to motivate people to contribute to geographic decentralisation when their payoff is significantly less than a player in 1st world country. There are very few incentives to not contribute to ‘brain-drains’ of disadvantaged areas besides irrational patriotism or specific personal networks
